Joy City Opens in Shenyang
While two of the four buildings are still under construction, and the dust is still settling throughout the project, stores from around the world are already open for business in the first phase of the Joy City mixed-use development in Shenyang, China. Members of the fd2s team were in Shenyang last week to review the project, and were able to get some photos (below) of the work in progress.
fd2s work on the 2.5-million-square-foot development (previously known as Senses) included the creation of the project’s identity and the development of a comprehensive program of environmental graphics. In addition to interior and exterior wayfinding and identification signage, environmental graphics components designed and documented by fd2s also included large-scale supergraphics, floor/wall patterns, and balustrade embellishments.
