fd2s Developing Wayfinding Program for Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital
fd2s recently began work on the development of a signage and wayfinding program for Northwestern Lake Forest Hospital’s new Cancer Center and Outpatient Surgery Center in Grayslake, Illinois. In addition to meeting the needs of these new facilities, the signage program is also being designed and documented for use in the future retrofitting of signage at the main Lake Forest Hospital Campus and eight satellite locations.
The project will include an examination and evaluation of the wayfinding challenges on the Grayslake campus, a review of existing conditions and regulatory issues at the facilities slated for future signage retrofits, the creation of project documentation for the Cancer Center and Outpatient Surgery Center, and assembly of the final documentation into a standards manual for use at satellite facilities.
