AT&T Conference Center
Environmental graphic design for a new hotel and conference center at the University of Texas.
fd2s provided a full range of environmental graphic design services for the University of Texas at Austin’s new AT&T Executive Education and Conference Center, including the development of wayfinding and identification signage and the creation of graphic identities for the Conference Center’s food service establishments. The center includes more than 40,000 square feet of meeting space, 297 guest rooms, three restaurants, and underground parking.
One unique aspect of our scope was the creation of custom patterns for the facility’s ballroom carpet. The carpet includes graphics inspired by historic University architecture and the nearby Texas Capitol, as well as laurels and filigree from the crests of various schools within the University, lyrics from the school song, and other elements of Texana.
