Technology-forward donor recognition installation anchors new headquarters

Blending technology and architecture to highlight mission and giving hierarchy

fd2s partnered with Louisiana State University’s LSU Foundation to develop wayfinding and donor recognition elements for its new state-of-the-art LSU Foundation Center for Philanthropy, located across from the university’s iconic stadium. Working closely with our client and the architect, fd2s helped to integrate gift recognition with the building’s architectural features, including arches, entry doors, and landscape walls. fd2s also created a feature wall combining traditional wood and gold lettering with touchscreen digital displays. This stunning focal point in the lobby atrium honors the past while looking ahead to the future.

  • “We engaged several firms to discuss our donor and wayfinding signage project, and fd2s stood out because of the firm’s beautiful aesthetic. So often, signage feels like a bandage applied on a handsome building, but fd2s worked with our architectural plans to create something special and unique to us. They were a great resource for determining appropriate scale for donor recognition and sharing creative ways to approach that piece of the project, and coaching us on best practices and material selections. We’ve been in our building for a couple of years now and still receive compliments.”
