University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences
Development and implementation of a medical school wayfinding master plan.
fd2s developed a comprehensive wayfinding master plan for the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock, and then took on multiple assignments related to the implementation of this plan throughout the campus. These implementation projects included the creation of a detailed sign standards manual; programming, documentation, and contract administration services for all signage elements in a new patient tower, cancer center, and renovated Psychiatric Research Institute; and the addition of new wayfinding signage elements to key public pathways throughout the institution’s 5.2 million square feet of existing space.
fd2s also created an integrated program of donor recognition signage for the new Winthrop P. Rockefeller Cancer Institute, which is now being deployed at approximately one dozen different interior and exterior locations throughout the facility.
