Oklahoma City, Oklahoma Donor Recognition in OU Children's iconic Atrium

University of Oklahoma Children’s Hospital

With the unveiling of its Gateway to Health, a multi-level atrium that conjoins the Children’s Hospital of the OU Medical Center with the OU Children’s Physicians Medical Office Building, the University Hospital & Trust offered the following aspiration to a crowd gathered at its grand opening, as voiced by Executive Director Dean Gandy:

“When you walk into the Atrium, I hope you find yourself inspired by nature in a space designed and built for children, filled with a host of friendly features and enriched with wonderful, uplifting art.”

fd2s worked closely with Gandy and his colleagues in developing a giving hierarchy, location strategy, and associated conceptual designs for over a dozen individual recognition installations throughout the now-connected facilities. This donor recognition strategy will allow for consistent acknowledgment of gifts to the institution and support the organization’s vision as communicated in the architecture.
