Brand identity refresh for a growing non-profit helping foster youth
Fresh Chefs Society is a non-profit organization that empowers foster youth with the skills necessary to take charge of their eating lifestyle through meaningful education experiences with community cooks, chefs, and restaurants. After six years of steady growth, Fresh Chefs turned to fd2s to refresh their graphic identity and collateral materials to broaden their reach to a wider audience.
The new identity conveys an approachable design vocabulary, through the use of bright colors, casual typography, and high-energy imagery to support Fresh Chefs Society’s goal of mobilizing the community around this vital issue. fd2s designed collateral materials for outreach to youth during recruitment events, fundraising brochures and donor gifts, in addition to swag for youth who complete the iCook Education and Apprenticeship programs.
